Gloucester Diocese Board of Education turned to SAS ENERGY to find a sustainable solution for their schools to reduce carbon footprint and become eco-friendly. With a slate roof at Barnwood C or E Primary School and visible to the neighbourhood, SAS ENERGY designed and installed a solar PV array with minimal visual impact, using Ahead 245w all black modules. The 9.55 kW system will supply the school with 9,020 kWh of free electricity per annum. From inception to completion, SAS ENERGY maintained the full operation of the school installation during term time without disruption of impact to the running of the school, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
