University of Sussex student wins the opportunity to switch the solar PV system on
Anna Watson, a PhD student in energy innovation won a competition at the University and was invited to join Caroline Lucas, MP for Brighton Pavilion at the switch on event. Anna said: “It was an honour to make this the sunniest Friday 13th on record. I’m proud to see Sussex leading the way in driving low carbon innovation”. More than 3,000 panels were switched on at the University of Sussex as it aims to nearly halve its carbon emissions by 2020. SAS Energy is proud to have worked in partnership with University of Sussex, Sussex Estates and Facilities and Interserve on this project.
